Training Designer & Facilitator

Contract Duration: Contract Hire / 2 years

Client/Location: An LNG Operating Plant, Qatar

Start Date: ASAP

Job Purpose

Plan, design and facilitate “Supervising the Company Way training modules” and in-house non-technical training programs pursuant to the Corporate Annual Training Plan to close competence and performance gaps and meet business needs. Evaluate gap closure interventions and report on the effectiveness.

Reporting and Relationships

Reports to the Training and Education (T&E) Head

Regular internal contacts to provide advice on the appropriate learning approaches to close competence gaps and meet business needs.

Job Context & Major Challenge(s)

The post holder works under the auspices of the Training and Education Head. Position holder will have a significant degree of independence in planning and organizing work and in delivering the required outputs.

The post holder is expected to exercise independent and sound judgment and work within the context of established Company policies and guidelines.

Company operates in a diverse workforce environment. This presents particular challenges as position holder will be involved in more complex and sensitive issues and is required to formulate solutions in appropriate ways based on functional and professional knowledge, expertise and best practices to be able to deliver high level advice and solutions.

Strong facilitation skills to be able to design and deliver training programs for adult learning environment to address training needs using accelerated learning techniques.

Requires strong initiative, commitment and interpersonal skills to plan, supervise and / or coordinate delivery of non technical / generic and customized training conducted in-house.

All the above the above will be delivered to all departments including Operations, maintenance and engineering.
