SENIOR MATERIALS ENGINEER - CONTRACT - SURREY

Our Client, an offshore oil and gas contractor, is currently looking for an experienced Senior Materials Engineer to join the team on an exciting Floating Wind project.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• Degree qualified engineer with design experience in materials.
• Capable of supporting the project team in Bids, FEED and Projects stages in the definition of the most effective and competitive solutions for design materials and manufacturing as per client and international specifications.
• Good communication and problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of welding and corrosion is desirable.
• Software: Knowledge of the relevant codes and standards pertinent to offshore industry with focus on renewable industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical support to construction/installation teams relevant to all aspects of metallic materials.
• Support procurement in technical bid evaluation (TBE), review vendors documents and communicate with client.

RATE:                          Please quote what limited company hourly rate you would be looking for.

DURATION:                   Start ASAP.

WORK PATTERN:         Must be able to work at least 3 days in the office and 2 days working at home.
