Rina is seeking for a Conceptual Studies Engineer, with experience/background in deepwater projects, in particular with FPSO and relevant Subsea equipment.

Please find here below a brief description of the main tasks to be performed by the Conceptual Studies Engineer position:

• Conduct identification of alternative concept designs studies for oil & gas production systems in conjunction with subsurface teams to optimize field development plans.
• Support on the selection of the most cost-effective surface development options taking into account life cycle cost to optimize CAPEX for the Asset
• Provide process discipline support to Angola operations.
• Maintain up-to-date process models of facilities and off plot system as appropriate.
• Pursue opportunities to optimize utilization or debottleneck existing assets as appropriate
• Carry out front-end / conceptual studies for capital projects to maintain and expand the existing Oil & Gas supply and off plot system, as required. Include outline HSE assessments where appropriate.
• To prepare Concept Selection Report (CSR) and Basis for Design (BFD) to document the concept selection, cost and execution strategy, as appropriate.
• Execute work in accordance with the company’s HSE management system.
• To maintain knowledge sharing with colleagues in the organization, capturing the lessons learned.
• Provision of engineering contributions to Field Development Plans to ensure optimum development scenario and integration with existing facilities is pursued.
• Managing the provision of process engineering discipline support to projects; design reviews, HAZOPs, IPF and commissioning.
