* Preferred degree in Engineering or Internationally recognized certification in loss Prevention.

* 10+ years of experience in discipline with preferred at least five years demonstrated senior engineering experience in major capital projects (preferably to Carbon Capture and Storage related Projects)

* Experience with EPC contractors, sub-contractors and vendors involved in the oil and gas industry

* Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people in a multi-cultural environment.

Job Context & Major Challenge(s)

· Responsible to conduct and coordinate all loss prevention and HSE activities, studies, assessments, and resolution/closeout of SHE issues. The position indirectly supervises the contractor's Loss Prevention engineering deliverables, and to effectively steward the scope in accordance with project requirements.

· Major challenges include maintaining effective working relationships with both contractors and stakeholders (e.g., Operations and SHEQ) to ensure alignment of Loss Prevention and HSE philosophies in accordance with project requirements and plans.

· Completing a large number of SHE studies in a timely manner to enable design decisions to be made to meet execution milestones.
