As a Reservoir Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing reservoir performance and maximizing hydrocarbon recovery. You will utilize your expertise in reservoir engineering principles and practices, particularly in the context of the West Africa geological environment, with a focus on Nigeria.

The ideal candidate will have 10 to 15 years of experience in the field, with a Master of Science degree.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct reservoir engineering studies, including reservoir simulation, decline curve analysis, and pressure transient analysis, to evaluate reservoir performance and predict future behavior.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement reservoir management strategies, including well placement, drilling plans, and production optimization initiatives.

- Analyze and interpret geological and geophysical data to characterize reservoir properties and identify potential drilling targets.

- Provide technical guidance and support to field operations, including well testing, workover programs, and production surveillance activities.

- Manage and support reserves calculations and booking

- Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements in reservoir engineering, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance reservoir recovery and profitability.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in reservoir engineering and petroleum operations.

Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or a related field.

- 10 to 20 years of experience in reservoir engineering, with specific expertise in the West Africa geological environment, ideally Nigeria.

- Proficiency in reservoir engineering software and simulation tools (Eclipse, TNavigator, or PetrelRE…)

- Able to work on several projects at the same time

- Having worked in operations is a plus

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex reservoir data and make data-driven decisions.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Great team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

- Demonstrated leadership abilities and a track record of delivering results in challenging environments.

- Fluency in written and spoken use of the English language is required.

- EU passport required.
