What's the role
As a Senior Designer, you'll be both hands-on and a leader in shaping the experience workstream for projects. You'll take a holistic approach, considering not only the digital screen but also all touchpoints that contribute to the overall product experience. Your empathetic and thorough research forms the foundation from which you define and design. You're a visionary, aiming to shape the user experiences of the future. And as a true champion of design, you can demonstrate the immense value of experience design even to one of the world's largest companies.

Furthermore, your responsibilities include the following:
  • Be actively involved in project work/creating a product: owning the experience.
  • Carry out appropriate research, direct and ethnographic.
  • Identify use cases, write epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, content and requirements.
  • Produce working documentation and deliverables such as experience guidelines, UX flows, wireframes, screens, and prototypes. Experience of Figma (or equivalent) expected.
  • Working hand-in-glove with technical and development teams.
  • Develop and run prototype testing sessions: A-B testing of designs and flows, information hierarchy validation e.g. card sorting etc.
  • Use the UI design system/language, components, grid structures, icons, interactions as needed.
  • Support the facilitation of workshops to prioritize, ideate and define opportunities.
  • Work with the wider organization and cross functional project teams to clarify business problems.
  • Work closely with other designers, not just Service designers, to execute a balanced approach to project work and product build.
  • Adapt and continuously iterate feedback on the project approach to the design lead.
  • Keep up to date on the latest thinking in the world of design.
  • Understand the digital development and technology such that the experience design can be communicated and translated smoothly.

What we need from you

We're excited to connect with candidates who possess the following qualifications and are ready to take on the challenge:
  • Extensive experience in Design thinking Software Engineering, UI/UX, Commodity Trading, In-house Software Product Development, End-to-End lifecycle Devops, Data Analytics
  • Experience in Oil Trading and Oil Market Analysis
  • Experience with information architecture and design thinking techniques, Design and coding skills
  • Experience in development and deployment of leading-edge business, systems and processes improvement methodologies & techniques
