We have anopportunity for Junior Software Engineer to join us at Honeywell in Brno. Use your You will interact with internal customers and team members inorder to facilitate the completion of products to customer specifications.
You will collaborate across teams located in different time zones which willgive you chance to learn from each other and grow together.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days in office, 2 from home.

Key responsibilities

• Development, verification, and certification of real-time embedded aviation software for Cockpit Display System in Display & Graphics team - the software development includes design, implementation, testing, and documentation of the software in accordance with DO-178C guidelines
• Break down complex requirements into meaningful advancements
• Assess complexity and estimate effort of new requirements
• You will test the avionics Display & Graphics software, which you develop, on a real avionics' hardware/platform.

Key skills and qualifications

• University degree in technical field
• Short working experience (during studies) with developing in C++ / C
• Get your hands dirty attitude: you are not afraid to pick tasks with ambiguous definition, start using new technology/development tools and turn them into quick deliveries.
• Advanced command of English language
• Eagerness to learn and proactive approach, ability to work in complex aerospace area and learn through experience
