We are currently seeking a Service & Repair Technician to join our Aerospace team in Gul Circle, Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
1) Perform Bench Fitting repair on aero engine hardware in accordance with approved manuals and repair documents. Meet drawing specifications requirements using various air tools, shop equipment, and hand tools.
2) Familiar with different bench fitting requirement on aero-engine hardware.
3) General knowledge of usage of air tools, shop equipment and hand tools.
4) Inspect finished product.
5) Ensures that work carried out meets the required quality as stated in the respective manuals and technical documents.
6) Perform equipment maintenance via establish TPM guidelines.
7) Practice 5S principals and maintain work area for operation and cleanliness
8) Initiates & implements continuous improvement activities to improve productivity and quality.
MUST HAVE
1) Minimum a NTC certificate or higher.
2) Minimum 3 years of Bench Fitting experience (e.g. replace screw/insert, reform parts) in Aerospace/Aviation, Marine, Automobile or Manufacturing industries.
3) Ability to interpret blueprint drawings and use of aircraft component manuals and/or publications.
4) Strong team player with good interpersonal communication skills.
5) Committed and willing to work in Painting environment.
6) Basic computer skills. Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
7) Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
