What role you will play in our team

Perform the day to day operations of our pipeline facilities including but not limited to the following duties: conduct pigging maintenance, perform ROW patrols and gas leak surveys, read cathodic protection rectifiers and test stations, maintain the internal corrosion prevention and chemical program, oversee pipeline ROW mowing maintenance, conduct pipeline valve and atmospheric corrosion pipeline inspections, communicate with landowners, and oversee contractor maintenance activities in the field. Oversee compliance data metrics collection and documentation tracking tools for DOT and DEP compliance stewardship. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervision.

What you will do

Perform all aspects of DOT pipeline maintenance for Federal and State compliance. Perform pipeline daily operational tasks to ensure optimal process volumes are delivered safely to the customer. Pigging maintenance, Right of Way patrols for gas leak surveys, read cathodic protection rectifiers and perform CP soil survey reads at test stations. Assist with public awareness liasion meetings. Perform internal corrosion prevention and chemical program ensuring internal integrity of the pipeline. Assist with pipeline ROW mowing maintenance, conduct pipeline valve and atmospheric corrosion pipeline inspections. Communicate with landowners and 3rd party operators for pipeline right of way maintenance activities. Periodically oversee contractor maintenance activities in the field. Be able to use a computer to input pipeline data metrics for DOT compliance and complete DOT documentation. Assist with monitoring open environmental right of way construction permits and provide appropriate documentation as necessary.

About You

Skills and Qualifications

  • Must have a prior field experience with PHMSA/ DOT requirements for pipeline operations and maintenance.
  • Must have prior field experience for integrity programs for pipelines.
  • Must view safety as a core value.
  • Must have effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work in a team collaborative atmosphere.
  • Must be able to work outside in both hot and cold environments.
  • Must be flexible in work hours and capable of taking on-call rotation as appropriate.
  • Must have computer skills including Microsoft Office and be able to effectively use a personal computer.

Preferred Skills

  • Preferred candidate will have NACE qualifications for corrosion.
  • Preferred candidate will have experience using GIS mapping data tools.
