The Sustainability Senior Strategy Specialist will be responsible for supporting the strategic activities of the Global Sustainability Centers. The candidate must be a strategic and analytical thinker who can investigate the details and interpret the impact of key business drivers on the overall business. A broad understanding of seaborne transportation and shipping finance will be an advantage. The successful candidate will have strong influencing and negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively with all internal and external parties.

What You Will Do:

• Provide strategic insights related to future business initiatives, market drivers, and competitor activities for inclusion in business planning.
• Develop roadmaps and detailed organic and/or inorganic growth plans based on ABS' sustainability strategy, goals, and objectives.
• Support the overall business plan success by providing a forward-looking commercial perspective, analysis, monitoring, and corrective action planning to ongoing new business initiatives.
• Work with customers and/or internal stake holders to gather data and data analytical tools to analyze, report and provide recommendations for sustainability projects.
• Attending industry events and conferences and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
• Maintain a solid understanding of emerging regulatory frameworks related to marine and offshore decarbonization.
• Contribute to authoring ABS publications and thought leadership documents.
• Lead special initiatives for the Vice President of Global Sustainability and/or his direct delegates.

What You Will Need:

Education and Experience

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree (or recognized equivalent) in Engineering or Science of a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of related practical experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to explain how changes in competitors, clients, and market segments affect ABS's business.
• The knowledge to translate broad corporate strategies into clear, specific objectives and plans for business segments.
• Skilled in driving new business initiatives that drive revenue growth.
• Strong commercial acumen coupled with broad business and operations experience.
• Must possess excellent communication skills both orally and in writing.
• Must be able to travel.
• Must be capable of presenting and working with clients.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Skilled in driving new business initiatives that drive revenue growth.
• Obtain a working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems.
