We are looking for an amazing SCM Specialist to join our team in Istanbul Global Project Centre office on permanent basis.

This role provides SCM (Supply Chain Management) support for goods and services procurement requested by the in-country project(s). Mission is to work jointly with SCM Specialists/SCM Engineers and under supervision of the Country SCM. Responsibilities include complete & timely delivery of the material, equipment and service in line with requirements, costs and quality & documents of the Award and highlighting any delay & propose recovery plans to all.

Role follows the application of the SCM processes and that the expediting & inspection records are kept up to date. This position ensures a good, close and efficient interface & relation with other departments (Accounting/Finance for invoicing, Logistics and Administrative Affairs for good receipts/service acceptance) to anticipate any consequence on SCM schedule.

What will you be doing?

• Work according to Subsea7 processes, use SCM tools, and behave in accordance with Subsea 7 Code of Conduct.
• Contribute to creating a positive Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) culture within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices.
• Ensure that confidential and commercial information is not disclosed to third party without authorization of the primary party.
• Check the comprehensiveness of the Purchase Requisition (PR) content, request any missing information to PR Requestor, if necessary complete the PR data and submit the PR to the Budget Holder.
• Create the Purchase Order (PO) following Country SCM sourcing decisions and using the proper terms & conditions validated chase its validation and signature by the relevant authority.
• Maintain the PR and PO up to date and manage any necessary revision according to the SCM processes.
• When requested by Country SCM prepare the Supplier Recommendation Approval (SCA) for review and approval by relevant authority.
• Review all correspondence and take necessary actions as required. Especially expediting the issue / review and approval of the Supplier documentation.
• Participate to meetings (e.g. Kick-Off) with Suppliers upon Country SCM request and ensure MoMs are issued.
• Check Suppliers invoices and the final account, obtain the corresponding close out certificate from Suppliers.
• Ensure regular feedback to Country SCM about running activity, schedule, completion of works and about supplier performance (speed, reactivity, communication, relation, accuracy, etc.).
• Provide other type of support to Country SCM upon request outside of the above non exhaustive list.

Department Support

Highlight all discrepancies in SCM processes, identify related risks and propose actions to minimize such risk.

Supports the local SCM Team/Manager to alleviate their daily works/tasks.

What experience would we like you to have?

• 3-4 years' experience with Degree in a relevant discipline
• Is interested in the overall project schedule, planning, organisation.
• Good communication & administrative skills, building effective relationship with suppliers.
• Must be fluent in English (oral and written) and comfortable with interlocutor speaking English over the phone.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills and accurate reporting, both written and verbal (especially in English).
• Focused person with great commitment.
• Flexibility, strategic thinking & time management
• Medium/Advance knowledge on Microsoft Pack office.
• Knowledge on ERP systems (SAP is beneficial).
