Our office at Stord is now looking for a Dept. Manager Piping & Mechanical.

What will you be doing?

Be responsible for recruiting, allocating and develop personnel to Aker Solutions projects within New Build and New Energies segments for Piping & Mechanical Fabrication Engineering. Ensure standardization way of working and common procedure, job description, etc. regarding Piping & Mechanical Fabrication Engineering across Yards. Ensure Piping & Mechanical Fabrication Engineering participation in projects review's according to Project Execution Model (PEM) Be responsible for start-up review in projects to ensure Fabrication Engineering implementation. In close cooperation with the Digitalization teams, ensure development of Fabrication Engineering and tools to meet future needs with respect to new models for project execution. Maintain the overall Piping & Mechanical Fabrication Engineering network in New Build segment, including PEM alignment. Establish, maintain, develop best practices, routines, procedures, processes, and knowledge sharing for the Piping & Mechanical Fabrication Engineering process.

• Experience from leading other Managers
• Experience from project EPC processes (preferable with a piping & mechanical background)
• Bachelor / - or Master of Science
• Open & honest
• Active, pushing and solution oriented
• Strong oral and written communication skills both in Norwegian and English
• Structured and systematic
• Overall good IT knowledge
• Innovative and creative mindset
• Structured, systematic, proactive & service focused
