Our department at Stord is now looking for a Marine Engineer.

What will you be doing?

  • Develop deconstruction methods for assigned studies and projects
  • Manage detail engineering for project method/marine activities and object deconstruction and disposal
  • Assess engineering, cost and planning effects of major changes
  • according to MoC process
  • Manage engineering for support and stability of larger objects
  • Manage Environmental Engineering including Hazardous Material
  • Mapping and Accounting System
  • Participate in studies, tenders and qualifications
  • Participate in project meetings when required
  • Keep the master documents updated
  • Contribute to the development of site and facilities
  • Approve Job cards
We think you should have:

For this position, we are also looking for this qualifications:

  • Minimum a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline such as marine technology, structural or construction.
  • Previous experience of structural engineering, carrying out inspections or working as part of a follow up team.
  • Experience with project development process and its different phases (e.g. early-phase studies, feeds, detail engineering)
  • Fluent in English. Norwegian would be advantageous
