RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervising construction activities to ensure they conform to project plans and specifications.
  • Develop and coordinate project plans, ensuring alignment with ADNOC Onshore PMT objectives and EPC Contractor capabilities
  • Supervision, management, coordination, administration and strict enforcement of the Construction scope included as part of FEED/EPC Contract
  • Oversee quality assurance and control processes to ensure compliance with ADNOC Onshore industry standards, regulations and client specifications.
  • Manage and oversee project schedules by coordinating activities and overseeing EPC contractor performance to ensure timely construction completion adhering to project timelines
  • Facilitate communication between ADNOC Onshore PMT, EPC Contractor and/or EPC Subcontractors, providing regular updates on project and construction progress, issues and resolutions.
  • Participating in Project HAZID/HAZOP, PHSER's, SIMOPS, Constructability, FRA/JSA and the like, including 30% 60% and 90% model review to align construction requirements for the safe construction execution.
  • Ensured EPC Contractor's compliance with all approved documents and latest IFC drawings for and maintaining high-quality standards
  • Oversee the compliant installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of applicable items ensuring full HSE and QAQC compliance
  • Monitoring daily construction progress, ensuring timely approval of EPC Contractor invoices and progress claims.
  • Identifying constructability issues, implementing mitigation strategies to avoid delays in project handover
  • Managing EPC Contractors and/or subcontractors and coordinating activities between different crafts.
  • Identifying schedule slippages and collaboration with PMT and EPC Contractor for timely mitigating of the risks to maintain project timelines
  • Scheduling workflow and ensuring that construction milestones are met within the stipulated time frame.
  • Conducting regular site inspections with coordination of EPC Contractor to monitor construction progress and adherence to safety standards.
  • Problem-solving on-site issues and implementing solutions in real-time.
  • Communicating effectively with PMT team, EPC and/or subcontractors, and stakeholders to keep the project aligned with its goals.
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate site reports and documentation.
  • Enforcing site safety and addressing any legal, environmental, or health and safety concerns.
  • Monitor of construction progress of the EPC Contractor and participate to ensure timely completion of invoicing and claims
  • Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, adjusting as needed due to weather, supply delivery, and personnel.
  • Ensuring workers and EPC Contractors and/or subcontractors are fully apprised of project goals, expectations, and timelines.
  • Managing the use of materials and human resources to ensure that excess is minimized and project resources are used efficiently.
  • Negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers to maintain budgetary constraints.
  • Implementing quality control measures to ensure the completed project meets the high standards expected.
  • Preparing internal and external reports pertaining to job status and presenting the findings to upper management.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management of any engineering discipline
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, being in a similar Superintendent / Lead or higher role for at least 3 years
  • PMC experience on EPC Onshore brownfield field production upgradation and modification of existing facilities projects is highly preferable Knowledge of construction software like Procore, AutoCAD, and BIM (Building Information Modeling).
  • Strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and adept at problem-solving.
