Key Accountabilities (Duties include but not limited to) |
· Understanding & familiarity of the Project scope and the technical, quality & safety requirements including the applicable regulations, the Project specific Design Basis and philosophies. · Ensures full implementation of Project requirements and control deliverables in terms of engineering, quality, schedule & HSE. · Collaborate across disciplines (including Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Pipeline, Umbilicals, Quality, HSE and Procurement, etc) to discuss & close pending items to proceed with manufacturing.
· Manage kick-off meetings & pre-Inspection meetings – ensuring they are completed as required & to start production activities. Full understanding of the challenges with manufacturing of large bore valves (design, procurement, sub-Vendors, welding, assembly, testing, handling, preservation) · Track vendor manufacturing schedule & shall be familiar with the pre-requisite & durations of the specific manufacturing activities.Identify the risks & provide mitigation actions to ensure contractual deliveries are met. · Interacts regularly with Contractors/Vendors and other disciplines as necessary. Reviews and approves specified vendor/sub-vendor purchase orders for valves. · Monitors material acquisition including requisitioning, fabrication, testing and transportation of large bore valves. · Liaise as required with Company’s Technical Authorities (TA) and committees and administers any management of change process (MOC) relating to large bore valves. |
Technical and Business Skills

· A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English. · Proficiency in MS Office & understanding of manufacturing scheduling software’s. · Excellent Planning, Execution & Tracking Skills · Excellent communication / written skills and ability to work with different disciplines. · High awareness of safe working practices associated with design, construction, installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning of offshore pipelines and facilities.

Qualifications |
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. (Advanced degree is desirable.)

Knowledge and/or Experience |
· 15+ years of relevant experience as a valve delivery package lead/manager in the oil and gas industry. · Understanding of the Piping International Codes and Standards and Good Engineering Practices applicable to the O&G Offshore facilities. · Worked with equipment deliveries and an in-depth knowledge of large bore valves manufacturing. · Understanding of the criticality & extensive testing requirements. · Experience in working with FEED/EPC Contractors and interfacing with Vendors/sub-Vendors. · Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds. |
