Job purpose:

The mission is to support in defining the IT strategy for DFL through strong collaboration, having an excellent understanding of the current and future critical finance processes, and ensuring that the appropriate digital IT landscape is defined, deployed, supported, and sunset effectively and efficiently.

To act as the primary point of contact of Schneider Digital for the DFL Process Owner where coordination is key to the success through effective collaboration of both internal and external IT professionals.

This role is critical to the successful partnership between Schneider Digital and the Finance Doman, securing its journey to automate, standardize and improve the Finance tools and processes.

The position is hosted within Schneider Digital - Enterprise IT. The position reports to the Digital Leader for Statutory Reporting, Consolidation and Group Performance.

Scope: Global finance application responsibility in terms of TCO, and Application Lifecycle management. Technology scope: SAP S4/HANA CFIN, SAP FIORI, SAP Analysis for Office, SAP PO, SAP BTP, SAP SLT, Syniti

Key core responsibilities include:

• Define the IT application strategy securing the future of the relevant applications through effective archiving, performance optimization, effective database management, upgrade strategy and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Plans.

• Own and manage the Total Cost of Ownership for IT applications and solutions supporting Reporting, Consolidation and Group Performance domain.

• Ensuring effective collaboration, defining Product Roadmaps, Product Evolutions, new solutioning, and appropriate deployment strategy.

• Effective direction of Digital Technology Center, ensuring execution of deployment strategy, and product run/support excellence.

• Own the Governance of DFL and FIORI solutions, ensuring maintenance of aligned solutions and evolution alignment with Finance Golden Rules.

• Act as primary point of contact for all associated escalations across responsible applications ensuring effective collaboration with the appropriate teams to ensure timely return of operations and minimal downtime. This includes DFL partners, Finance, Global Infrastructure Operations, Digital Technology Centes, ERP Platform owners, and SAP.

• Manage the appropriate application services through close monitoring of critical KPI's including, CPU, Memory, and Disk consumption, database optimization, data ageing, archiving and deletion, database partitioning, and response times of FIORI and AFO.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Strong financial modeling techniques and analytical skills.

• Good knowledge on SAP.

• AWS experience is a plus

• Effective communication skills.
