As SEE Contract Administrator and a member of Schneider Electric's Global Legal Department, you will support colleagues in the legal department in all aspects of contract management, especially in connection with customer, supplier and partner contracts. What will you do?

We are looking for a competent and communicative Contract Administrator (SEE) to support our colleagues in the legal department by independently handling contract management tasks.

Typical tasks include, but are not limited to:

Ø the collection of metadata of different customer, supplier and partner contracts in a contract lifecycle management tool (CLM) for the purposes of contract archiving and reporting;

Ø Answering questions about contract templates to colleagues from different business units;

Ø Import and addition of contract templates into the CLM tool;

Ø Support in monitoring contract reviews;

Ø Legal research and support in the preparation/review of simple contracts

Ø Checking contract templates for completeness and correctness;

Ø Training of employees on contract management and the use of the CLM tool;

Ø Assist in the preparation of reports for internal control functions on the status of contracts and the implementation of internal policies.

As a member of the Global Legal Department, you will work closely with the in-house lawyers and support the team with your organisational and analytical skills.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Diploma or business lawyer or comparable training with previous knowledge of legal/contract law
  • Excellent knowledge of contract management, good to very good knowledge of contract drafting; very good use of digital contract management tools;
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous way of working
  • Several years (min. 2 years) of relevant professional experience, e.g. in a law firm or in an international company
  • Good knowledge of the industry and its requirements
  • High communication skills, very good understanding of economic contexts, strong sense of entrepreneurial and ethical action, willingness to travel
  • Ability to tackle difficult tasks with team spirit, optimism and drive and helps to solve problems.
  • Independent, diligent and solution-oriented way of working as well as strong organizational skills in order to master the high demands of operational business.
  • Fluent in English
