Digital Power Ops Trainer/Training Lead

Location: Nashville, TN (Franklin)

Digital Power Ops Trainer/Training Lead will be responsible for leading the competency development of Application Engineers of Digital Power Operations team. The role includes the creating, managing, and deploying the technical training for EPMS (Energy & Power management system) solutions.

You will be responsible for the below topics:
  • Deploying the EPMS training to AEs and URs that includes following products:
      • PME software
      • Basic & advanced Power Meters
      • Branch and multi circuit meters
      • EPO software
      • Energy Hub
      • PLC control
      • Protection relay
  • Collaborate with PMU & Line of business to update training content with latest products.
  • Identifying the training needs and develop the missing content/training.
  • Maintain the competency dashboard of Digital Power Operations application engineers.
  • Finalizing and maintaining the training calendar.
  • Create and maintain the demo wall in Franklin Hub/Huntley facility.
  • Manage the certification level of the application engineers.
Qualifications & Experience, Essential
  • Bachelor's/associate degree in electrical engineering/control systems/Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience related to Power Meters, Energy and Power management system.
  • Application Engineering or Field experience with configuration of Power meters and understanding of control & Power wiring of metering devices.
  • Good understanding of industry standard communication protocols.
  • Application development using PLC or another control system.
Qualifications, Desirable:
  • Experience working around electrical equipment such as switchgear, generators, UPS systems, etc.
  • Past experience in delivering & creating training.
  • Knowledgeable in networking architectures, topologies, and hardware.
  • HMI configuration experience, including graphical screen development.
  • Direct experience with deployment of Schneider Electric proprietary software such as Power Monitoring Expert (PME) or EcoStruxure Power Operations (EPO).
Skills:
  • Good communication skills in English (oral & written)
  • Be open minded and creative.
  • Self-driven and ability to take decisions.
  • Able to work in a multi-cultural environment
Potential Travel - 10-20%
