  • Perform geomechanical analysis and modeling to support various oil and gas operations such as well design, drilling optimization, borehole stability, mud weight determination, sand production, hydraulic fracturing, reservoir compaction, fault reactivation and induced seismicity
  • Collect, interpret and integrate geomechanical data from various sources such as well logs, core tests, seismic surveys, stress measurements and field observations
  • Develop and calibrate geomechanical models using software tools such as Abaqus, FLAC3D, Petrel or VISAGE
  • Evaluate and quantify the effects of geomechanical processes on reservoir behavior, fluid flow and well performance
  • Provide geomechanical recommendations and solutions to mitigate risks and enhance opportunities for oil and gas extraction
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct research and development on new technologies, methods or best practices for rock mechanics or geomechanics engineering
