Skills and Responsibilities:
In this role, you will undertake the following duties:
• Proficiency in piping design /layouts for process plants in oil & gas and chemical plants.
• Proficiency & flexibility in various 3D design software's like PDS, Auto plant, SP3D, E3D.
• Should have capacity to work as an Area Lead i.e., supervised/handled 10,000-20,000 work hours on an individual project or work as Lead for small size projects.
• Computer Applications: Windows operating systems.
• Understanding & Knowledge of statutory codes & regulations.
• Working as per the quality and safety requirement standards
• Adopting a flexible and open approach towards the needs of projects.
• Should have clear concepts of flexibility requirement for stress analysis and materials.
In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.
Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:
Qualification/ Certification:
• Masters/Bachelor of Engineering OR Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering from Indian University (UGC approved) or from Overseas University.
Skills Requirement:
• Proficient in design development, Layout drawings independently.
• Lead Engineer of medium-sized project.
• Planning of activities and work distribution
• Responsible for coordination with other disciplines.
• Control of work hours, timely maintain change management.
• Responsible for quality of deliverables.
• Supervise team of Engineers & designers.
Software Tools:
• Familiar with Design 3D Software's- (SP3D, E3D, CADWORX, Auto plant, SP3D, AUTOPLANT).
• Computer Applications: Windows operating systems.
Communication:
• English - Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Good Interpersonal skills.
• Presentation and business communication skill.
• Identify/report technical concerns and solutions in a clear and concise manner.
• Should be able to attend project and team meetings.
• Conduct technical training session for team.
• Proficiency in remote collaboration tools and practices.
