We manage and integrate all phases of project activity and resources while ensuring client satisfaction. As a leader in energy transition, we engage our clients at early stages of project development and as Project Manager I you will manage projects and programs during all phases including project delivery, ensuring adherence to strict deadlines and budget. This includes working with the discipline led resources departments in the acquisition of resources and coordination of all Project efforts toward the successful and timely delivery of all engineering solutions.

The Project Manager I will define the projects objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. The Project Manager I will have experience of working at all levels across the organization. This role will also identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to the ongoing betterment of Project Management Practices. This is an entry level position in the Project Delivery job family and in the Project Management career path.

Responsibilities
  • As project manager on a larger project, works under the direction and mentorship of the assigned project manager. As the project manager of a small project, works closely with project delivery leadership or other senior project managers/operations leaders who provide oversight and mentoring.
  • Manages the project team through all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout, consistent with established project delivery processes to the meet the scope, schedule, budget and other specified requirements stated in the contract.
  • Completes the scope of work to the satisfaction of the client, while simultaneously ensuring HS&E, quality, financial, risk management; business and policy expectations are met.
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Manage the process of gathering, review, and agreement of requirements with stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations and progress to team members and other stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Plan and proactively monitor project progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action
  • Provide regular project status updates directly to all stakeholders
  • Ensuring allocation of number and type of resources and skills within the project
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Control the flow of work and track project milestones and deliverables. Mitigate issues affecting project schedule, budget and resources
  • Identify risks and ensure control actions are taken.
  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyses results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
  • Define project success criteria in relation to agreed requirements and disseminate to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
  • Conduct project lessons learned and create recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

About You

Wed love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:
  • You should be self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Minimum of 10 years of engineering or engineering services role with desired project management experience in project execution.
  • Engineering degree preferred or equivalent professional qualification and experience
  • Multi center execution / workshare experience required
  • Demonstrated experience and success in the delivery of integrated engineering project assignments at or above a total installed cost of $25mm USD
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects per original commitment date with a strong focus for On Time Delivery Metrics
  • Must have strong scope definition and management skills
  • Demonstrable experience in personnel management with the ability to effectively Lead project teams that are globally distributed.
