My client is a global leader in energy technology. They are located in 90 countries, they operate across the whole energy landscape. From conventional to renewable power, from grid technology to storage to electrifying complex industrial processes.

They are looking to hire a mechanical engineer supporting their manufacturing in Berlin.

The role will include but not be limited to:

- Acting as an interface between manufacturing/supply management and engineering.

- Evaluation of non conformances (QN) and deviation reports of the production segments and their suppliers in terms of design and material-related aspects

- Decision on the use, repair or scrapping of the affected components

- Development and documentation of repair solutions considering the boundary conditions of the manufacturing and supporting on-time delivery

- Participation in Design Reviews providing technical know-how in design and manufacturing

- Evaluation and providing technical solutions for product definition errors/manufacturing requests (EECM, BSol)

- Mechanical Engineer degree or comparable

- Expertise: Design technology, strength calculation, materials technology, manufacturing technology, non-destructive testing methods

- Gas turbine knowledge (preferably all frames, all components)

- SAP/CAD knowledge

- Network within EN (manufacturing/purchasing desirable)

- Customer-/ Results-Oriented

- High Flexibility / Independent Working

- Interested in Production (production-related teamwork)

- Languages: German and English
