JOB TITLE: SENIOR DATA ARCHITECT

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare technical inputs to support the Petrofac Data Management strategy.
• Provide technical expertise in supporting data model(s), data landscape, data catalogue, data lineage and master data management (MDM), metadata management.
• Deliver metadata, data management and data sharing practices.
• Deliver enterprise data standards as per data management governance guidelines.
• Assist in data governance activities.
• Engage in data architectures development activities.
• Implement and ensure design integrity across the business application landscape.
• Familiar with data regulations such as GDPR and when required to provide the necessary support to implement regulatory compliance architecture guidelines.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Degree qualified - Business (or related)
• Experience in Data management of which 4 years must be in a senior consultant position role within a mid-sized corporate environment.
• Planning and managing work priorities
• Agile to adjust to unexpected changes
• Professional manner to communicate with business and client
• Attention to detail, Confident to query / challenge when appropriate
• Accountability for delivery, Collaborating across multiple geographies
• Reliable and responsible
• Demonstrated skill of data management (DM) architectural principles and practices (e.g., data landscaping, data governance, master data management and data modelling).
• Has participated in Data Governance implementation.
• Sound understanding of Data Management architectural practices and technical principles, including applicable technologies.
• Functional understanding of Data Management life-cycle, processes, best practices and standards
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with the ability to persuade and build trust at all levels of the organisation.
• Experience in EPC business disciplines and processes.
• Using specialist knowledge and business experience to solve business requests
• Recommending and concisely communicating complex digital solutions for business problems
