We are seeking to recruit on behalf of our client a PROJECT MANAGER (OFFSHORE STRUCTURES FABRICATION) : EPC CONTRACTS who will based in Qatar on a long-term residential contract working in the client’s EPC & CONSTRUCTION Department.

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Offshore Structure Fabrication Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the fabrication process of offshore structures in marine fabrication yard (jackets, top sides, risers, subsea structure.), ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage all aspects of offshore structure fabrication projects from initiation to completion, including planning, budget control, and resource allocation. • Develop project execution plans in coordination with engineering, procurement, and construction teams.

Coordinate with clients, vendors, subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.

Monitor project progress, identify risks and opportunities, and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure project objectives are achieved.

Oversee quality control and inspection activities to ensure that fabricated structures meet project requirements and industry standards.

Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular cost reports.

Lead project meetings and communicate effectively with project team members, management, and clients.

Foster a culture of safety and environmental stewardship throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with relevant safety regulations and best practices.

Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Continuously evaluate project performance and identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management with an overall offshore fabrication experience for 15 years.

Proven track record of successfully managing offshore structure fabrication projects.

Strong technical knowledge of offshore construction methods, materials, and fabrication processes.

Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute project plans, manage budgets, and lead multidisciplinary teams.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients.

Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations, such as API, ASME is preferred.
