We are looking for a Quality Advisor to join our team at the Westhill, Aberdeen office on a Staff or Contract basis.

The Quality Advisor position is accountable for all Project Quality activities within assigned renewables Project work packages, ensuring that all aspects of the work are compliant with Project Contractual requirements, Seaway7 BMS, Regulatory and Legal requirements.

What you will be doing

• Manages and monitors all Quality activities and Quality performance within assigned tender and Project work package(s).
• Supports the development and implementation of Project Quality Management, Assurance, and Control strategy.
• Implementation of Project Quality Plan.
• Quality discipline document reviews on Client contractual documents, internal and supply chain deliverables.
• Provides Quality support and direction to the Project team.
• Interfaces with Client on Quality matters and Client Quality deliverables.
• Delivers a Plan Do Check Act (PDCA) Quality management approach within the assigned Project work packages.
• Non-conformance management; incident investigation, root cause analysis, reporting and trend analysis.
• Quality Assurance in relation to Supplier and Subcontractor evaluation, management and product or service delivery across a diverse, multi-tiered supply chain; national and international.
• Collaboration with Engineering technical authorities e.g., Design, LV/HV Electrical, Transport and Installation, Welding & Materials, NDT and Coatings to ensure alignment with Quality requirements and deliverables.
• Quality Control (QC) management across onshore and offshore works; Seaway7 Assets and Subcontractor or Supplier sites.
• Supports development of QC strategy and budget, resource forecasting, resource deployment and QC performance management.
• Supports delivery of the Audit programme within the assigned Project work package(s)

• Knowledge and application of the Quality discipline within Projects and Operations.
• Degree level qualification or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in supervision and mentoring of Quality personnel within a team structure is desirable.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Quality Standards: ISO 9000 Series, ISO 10005, BE EN 102004
• Proven history of incident / failure event investigation and reporting utilising root cause analysis tools and methodologies.
• Renewables or Oil and Gas Sector knowledge and experience is desirable.
• Good working knowledge of contractual mechanisms and technical codes and standards as applied in EPCI Renewables / Oil and Gas Projects, and associated Product and Service delivery is desirable.
• Capable of presentation and discussion at Senior Management Level
• Qualified and experienced Lead Auditor
