About the job:
Your responsibilities:
1. Review engineering deliverables and provide quality related comments/approval as applicable.
2. Provide Quality review and comment on Vendor / Subcontractor deliverable submissions.
3. Carry out project audits including Vendor and Subcontractor audits.
4. Ensure that all necessary inspections as identified in the approved inspection and test plan (ITP) are attended by a suitable QA/QC inspector.
5. Support engineering to ensure that work is conducted within the confines of the QMS.
6. Ensure that the correct contract scope is defined, properly understood and engineered in accordance with the project specifications, codes & standards and local legislative requirements (as applicable).
7. Ensure correct planning and scheduling of the QA / QC work.
8. Identify and account for any deviations from the programme and determine what corrective action is needed.
9. Manage all technical interfaces both internally between disciplines, internally with procurement, construction & projects and externally with Vendors and Clients.
10. Ensure that corrective actions resulting from non- conformance with procedures and specification are closed out in a timely fashion.
11. Compliance with the client and Kent Management System procedures.
12. Develop and Coordinate quality surveillance schedule activities at fabrication yard (as applicable).
13. Carry out internal health checks to ensure compliance with Implementation Contractor / Vendor / Subcontractor and Project procedures.
14. Provide support to projects to ensure that common, Quality goals and objectives are achieved.
15. Compliance with Kent HSSEQ requirements
16. Compliance with Kent mandatory training and associated requirements.
Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:
Qualification/ Certification:
• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical or Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation Engineering
Communication:
• Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication and skills.
