JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood is currently searching for a Digitalization Advisor to handle the development and implementation of digital transformation out of the Wood Houston - Park Ten campus. This person will a member of our growing Global Engineering and Design Systems team.

Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Development and implementation of digital transformation strategies both internally and externally for our clients using the latest digital trends and technologies.
• Globalization of digital transformation strategies across projects and offices.
• Ensures all required Engineering Systems are implemented to meet project/client requirements
• Coordinate with Engineering System Application Leads on the set-up and implementation of Engineering Systems
• Coordinate with Engineering System Application Leads to develop the Engineering Systems execution plan/documentation
• Setting of priorities for Engineering Systems related issues
• Ensures all Engineering Systems related to project work scopes are completed
• Coordinate with satellite offices to ensure local Engineering Systems issues are being addressed
• Attend project meetings to report on Engineering Systems status and issues
• Manage Project Engineering Systems Budget and Schedule

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• 5 years in project design experience
• Engineering or Design Background; Familiarity with Engineering Workflow
• Familiarity with Database Concepts
• Familiarity with Engineering Systems Software, such as:
• Smart 3D
• SmartPlant P&ID
• SmartPlant Electrical
• SmartPlant Instrumentation
• SmartPlant Foundation
• Fundamental Programming Language Experience
• Strong Communication Skills both Written and Verbal
• Strong Organizational Skills
• Team Player
• High Support Drive

Preferred

• 10+ years in Application Administration and 10+ years in the Oil & Gas or Refining & Chemicals Industries
• Microsoft Excel, SQL, Oracle, Visual Basic Experience a Plus
• Familiarity with other Engineering Systems Software a Plus, such as:
• AVEVA E3D
• AVEVA Engineering
• AutoDesk Navisworks
• Laser Scan Data
