RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support and enforce project guidelines and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) objectives.
  • Responsible for HSE under his perimeter/Package
  • Attend HSE meetings and training when necessary.
  • Participate in or lead Job Safety Analysis, make suggestions, stop dangerous situations, and report anomalies, accidents, and incidents.
  • Accountable for a dedicate Package.
  • Collaborate with the Project Construction Coordinator to prepare, plan, organize, and execute safely construction activities.
  • Coordinate with all CTR's and all TTE teams on various topics related to the respect of delivery date of the package.
  • Assist in tracking project package progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays, controlling construction budgets and schedules, quality control, and safety, and providing regular updates to the management.
  • Support in managing and coordinating contractors, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring adherence to project schedules and specifications, and ensuring timely availability of materials and resources.
  • Anticipate and resolve construction issues and challenges arising during the project.
  • Ensure all construction works are carried out as per the plans, schedule, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Participate in coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders when required.
  • Prepare and draft meeting minutes on various topics discussed during projects meetings, ensuring accuracy, and capturing key points for reference and decision-making purposes.
  • Develop and deliver presentations and reports on diverse subjects to communicate project progress, updates, construction feasibility and findings to both management and site personnel, assisting the project construction manager in conveying information effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights, facilitating the preparation of comprehensive reports for management review and decision-making.
  • Support the Project Construction Coordinator in other administrative tasks and project-related activities as needed to contribute to the overall success of the construction project.
  • Assist in managing project documentation, including contracts, change orders, permits, and various reports.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including engineers, designers, and suppliers, to resolve any construction-related issues, attend technical survey request and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Assist in conducting regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Support in reviewing and evaluating contractor performance and providing feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Check for consistency in the technical information provided by the Contractor.
  • Act as a substitute for the Contractor where necessary for the success of the Project.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 to 15 years' experience in the Oil & Gas industry with significant experience in construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices in the oil and gas industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple interfaces effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to analyse and interpret project plans, specifications, and drawings.
  • Team player with ability to work cross functionally with complex project teams and act as an interface between interdisciplinary departments and within an international team.
  • Excellent knowledge of English language (Oral and written).
