Wood is looking for an experienced Project Accountant to join our team in Brunei.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Overview / Responsibilities
- Review coding of AP invoices to ensure cost is allocated correctly
- Identify / coordinate / troubleshoot/ resolve/ report any financial process issue on the contract relating to accounts payable, time writing, 3rd party time writers
- Ensure hourly rates data changes is updated in a timely manner in Oracle
- To perform month end close activities for contract including cost and revenues accruals, Oracle system closing, etc
- Preparation of various group reporting requirement eg Flash/Bridge/Unbilled receivable and AR analysis
- To take on all other financial analysis, financial data request as required
Priority will be given to local Brunei nationality or Permanent Resident of Brunei.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
- Holds a relevant professional body qualification (e.g. ACMA, ACA, ACCA, etc.) or a degree in Accounting
- Incumbents will typically have a minimum 5 years relevant experience in a finance role
- Excellent knowledge of accounting software (preferably Oracle) and related principles, tools and techniques including budgeting, forecasting
- Ability to work on own initiative to pull together required reporting.

- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills both written and oral
