Subsea7 is seeking a conversion engineer for the Design & Analysis Department. Conversion engineers have been successfully integrated in the Lisbon office. We have been providing to experienced engineers from other industries the opportunity to take their existing skills and experience and develop them into a new career within the Energy business.

How do we do it? The Conversion Engineer will be offered focused training after which they will be assigned to a live project, with ongoing training, development, and mentoring.

The Role: Subsea7 aims to recruit engineers with experience in the following domains: Marine/Ocean Engineering, Hydrodynamics, Calculation/Simulation such as FEM. The role is to fulfil the requirement of an Installation Analysis engineer within the Global Project Centre (GPC) business unit.

PROFILE:

• Engineering Degree. in Marine/Ocean, Hydrodynamic, Offshore, other engineering backgrounds can be considered provided that it is supplemented by practical experience in a relevant industry.
• From a wide range of industries (as an example: Aerospace, Automotive, Civil Construction, Materials, etc...) with analytical calculations and finite element analyses background.
• Minimum of 3 years of working experience.
• Strong interest to perform calculation and design activities.
• Keen to embrace a career in the Energy business.
• Problem solver mindset with critical eyes for the details.
• Excellent ability to work within a multi-disciplined and multicultural team.
• Solid skills of English are required (comprehension and communication).

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Majority of the work is carried-out at Subsea 7 Lisbon Office, within a hybrid work regime.
• Punctual international travels (meetings, visits to suppliers, equipment testing, etc.).
