What's the role

The purpose of the Analyst - Credit Debt Collection is to ensure that customer debts are collected in line with contracted payment terms.

The analyst is responsible for:

• Impacting the organizational cash flow by taking appropriate steps to carry out debt collection activities including escalation process and performing cash allocation activities to ensure timely allocation.
  
• Responsible for the managing control procedures, such as order blocking and unblocking to ensure risk has been appropriately measured and mitigated.
  
• Perform dispute initiation and monitoring resolution in accordance with the defined SLA.
  
• Maintain a good working relationship with various stakeholders such as sales & operations, customers, and customer service center representatives to be able to fulfill and communicate as necessary for the role.
  
• Support the business in credit solutions such as portfolio or customer reviews, credit line reviews and submitting quarterly provisions.
  

To fulfill the operational responsibilities fully, the analyst would be communicating with various stakeholders including, but not limited to:

• Business Sales & Operations
  
• Business leaders
  
• Finance in the Business and Credit Managers
  
• Third Party Customers
  
• Customer Service Center Representatives
  

The analyst demonstrates:

• Finance and Credit acumen to understand underlying finance implications of the different responsibilities.
  
• Adept interpersonal and communication skills necessary for performing callouts and other collection efforts to third party customers.
  
• Collaboration and business communication skills to allow discussion with business on credit related matters.
  
• Strong problem ability, including attention to detail to be able to provide accurate and timely advise.

What we need from you:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or any related course
  
• 2-3 solid years of experience in credit and collection
  
• Amenable to work on night shift, 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, following US Holidays supporting the North America Portfolio
