JOB DESCRIPTION

As Business Development - Process & Flow Technologies you will have overall responsibility for all sales performance, developing and implementing action plans across Australia. Your existing technical understanding of Artificial Lift Systems, with a focus on Progressive Cavity and Suction Rod Pumps, will form the basis for you to develop critical product knowledge in line with our sales strategy. Additional product knowledge from our Process & Flow Technologies portfolio (Reciprocating Pumps, Centrifugal Pumps, Surface Progressive Cavity Pumps & Production Chokes) will form an additional requirement for our sales strategy. Critical to this role will be your ability to identify our customers' needs to align our value proposition with current and future expectations. Combining strategic and tactical insight, you will translate customer-driven requirements into profitable solutions.

Your day to day will involve:

  • Proactively developing new sales prospects and accounts in line with the sales strategy.
  • Developing comprehensive sales, proposal and marketing strategies in line with global and regional initiatives.
  • Aligning NOV's strategy with current and future business strategies of existing and new customers.
  • Contributing to the global sales team with monthly forecasts, weekly reports, market intelligence, etc.
  • Leading the preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals
  • Fully understanding existing competitive technology and market pressures within the Artificial Lift business segment, identifying areas for product development to ensure NOV is at the forefront of the market.
  • Implementing and executing a sales strategy for additional Process & Flow technologies products (Reciprocating pumps, Surface Progressive Cavity Pumps, Production Chokes etc.)
  • Understanding and communicating customer needs, providing reactive and proactive customer support with clear, defined and documented follow-up plans.
  • Customer visits, office-based support and internal travel throughout the territory as required.
  • Field visits to provide customer and/or technical support at the well site as required.

  • Additional production facility, production enhancement and production well lifecycle knowledge.
