JOB DESCRIPTION

Based in Fort Worth, this position will report to the Crew Chief and/or Supervisor of the department and will often work alongside other members of the manufacturing team as well as assist in training. Additionally, the Pre Fab Operator is responsible for the operation of assigned equipment.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the safe operation of pre-fabrication equipment, using skill and knowledge to produce product to specification.
• Responsible for material movement, identification and documentation tasks as assigned.
• Operate assigned equipment safety and proficiently and train others to do so.
• Accomplish material movement and identification procedures as directed.
• Maintain necessary documentation as directed.
• Use safe work practices.
• Perform assigned tasks under the direction of the Fabrication and Machining Manager or their designate.
• Bring technical problems encountered to the Fabrication and Machining Manager or their designate.
• Work to improve efficiency to achieve productivity and delivery goals.
• Organize and maintain personal and company tools, equipment, and work area in a professional manner.
• Responsible to follow all applicable company and corporate policies, procedures, and programs, including but not limited to the process map, support processes, safety and environmental requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School graduate or GED preferred.
• Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
• Must be legal to work in the United States.
• Must have experience operating equipment available in the Pre Fab Center, 2 years or more experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of employees and departments.
