NOV Energy Equipment Remacut is seeking an experienced Production Planner. In this exciting new role you will you will oversee and manage the material availability for our turn key projects, identifying any potential risks and mitigating purchasing downtime.

Your ability to liaise with a cross-functional team at various levels to incorporate the requirements of key stakeholders whilst ensuring alignment across the business will be critical to the success of the operation.

Your day to day responsibilities will include:

• Entering new item master data including make/buy lead times etc.
• Entering build plan(s) into the ERP system to support the use of planning tools. Developing and managing planning bills of materials and resources
• Review and convert MRP (Oracle Supply Planning) suggested requirements into purchase requisitions and work orders.
• Review MRP compression and exception messages and resolve conflicts. Including ensuring regular communication with the Project Manager and Project Planner.
• Daily review of the ERP system to ensure material quantities are available in line with order due dates.
• Maintain the accuracy of data in the ERP system, including item master data and through the timely execution of transactions.
• Liaise with procurement on subcontracting requirements as required
• Participate in all cost roll processes including large projects to ensure all parts are issued to that project.

Your skills and experience will include

• Mbo or Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management or related discipline
• MRP planning experience with complex products with multi-level BOMs and high part count (1000's)
• 3+ years work experience in a planner role
• Understanding of manufacturing operations related to scheduling, purchasing and inventory control
