As part of NOV's Corporate Regional Payroll team, the Payroll Administrator ensures accurate and timely payroll processing for the business units in Denmark. You will work closely with HR, managers and employees to provide high quality customer service. As part of NOV's Corporate Regional Payroll team, the Payroll Administrator ensures accurate and timely payroll processing for the business units in Denmark. You will work closely with HR, managers and employees to provide high quality customer service. Adaptability, good judgement and a commitment to self-improvement are essential for success in this role.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the full spectrum of tasks regarding the monthly payroll for Denmark.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll in accordance with local statutory requirements and regulations.
- Provide day to day operational payroll support and work closely with NOV's outsourced vendors to increase effectiveness and efficiency of payroll processing.
- Be the first point of contact for your supporting business units in handling payroll queries and updates.
- Prepare Payroll master data inputs to the payroll system, ensuring accurate handling of data.
- Perform time file reconciliation and assist timekeeper to resolve issue promptly.
- Prepare and submit accurate bank files for each payroll timely, monthly statutory files, monthly deductions payments to various external agencies.
- Minimum Diploma in Human Resources / Payroll or related field (desirable)
- At least 2 years' experience of working with Danish payroll (essential)
- Good command of Excel (essential)
- Systems experience with Kronos Timekeeping for payroll or similar (desirable)
- Proficient in English and Danish (written and verbal)
