The Skilled mechanical Assembly Fitter will work on the assembly of new oilfield equipment, including assembly of hydraulic, pneumatic & Mechanical systems.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working as part of the team with minimal supervision and/or with the skills & experience to work independently, tasks will include:-

The Skilled mechanical Assembly Fitter will work on the assembly of new oilfield equipment, including assembly of hydraulic, pneumatic & Mechanical systems.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working as part of the team with minimal supervision and/or with the skills & experience to work independently, tasks will include:-
- General fitting work in our final assembly workshop, building sub-assemblies
- Preparing items for painting
- Building engine, gearbox, pump assemblies
- Preparing items to be installed into unit during build
- Installation of fluid tanks & mechanical equipment, making & installing hydraulic/pneumatic hose assemblies
- Time served apprenticeship in a Mechanical discipline that includes a technical qualification in mechanics/engineering
- Previous working experience in a similar field (such as, but not limited to automotive, agricultural, marine engineering)
- Working knowledge within an assembly & manufacturing environment including the preparations of components would be an advantage
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Transfer mechanical skills to new tasks
