JOB DESCRIPTION

The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in international procurement and supply chain management, with a proven track record of delivering strategic initiatives and driving operational improvements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and oversee the design and optimization consultancy for Materials & Inventory Management and Supply Chain operations across multiple countries
  • Stocking Strategy Development and Optimization. Preservation Strategy development, Level of Repair Analysis
  • Design and develop category strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
  • Development of Maintenance, Materials and Inventory Management Philosophies, Standards and Procedures to guide the execution, management, and governance of operations
  • Drive and support the adoption of new technologies to enhance efficiency and value in complex system environments
  • Design and optimize Materials & Inventory and Purchasing management processes and systems
  • Support and advise on the systems integration of material management systems, modules with work management systems and SAP S4 HANA
  • Spearhead strategic sourcing activities, fostering partnerships, and leading commercial negotiations for measurable value delivery
  • Apply agile methods effectively to achieve quick and impactful results in procurement and supply chain processes
  • Utilize a technical and analytical mindset to harness the power of data science and analytics in driving informed business decisions
  • Leverage data modeling to optimize global distribution networks and reduce environmental impact
  • Lead and facilitate workshops intended to facilitate thought leadership and design thinking for front-end solutioning and design of management and transactional workflows
  • Support he design and optimization of logistics planning and processes
  • Risk Management. Conduct Risk Assessments, LORA Assessments, Lifecycle cost analysis inputs and repairability assessments and the design of these processes
  • Implement measures to achieve year-on-year improvements in operational and safety performance in warehousing and logistics
  • Instill a service leadership mentality, supporting, empowering, developing team members and stakeholders
  • Workflow and transactional activities process design
  • Support project execution and development of standardized project execution plans
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Information Technology
  • Master's degree is a preference based on the combination of experience, accomplishments, and qualifications
  • Proven executive-level experience in supply chain, Inventory, and procurement
  • International experience managing operations across diverse geographical locations
  • Expertise in category strategy development and tactical delivery of strategic initiatives
  • Demonstrated success in strategic sourcing, partnership development, and commercial negotiations
  • Proficiency in applying agile methods for quick and effective results.
  • Intellectually capable, can apply maintenance theory in a practical context
  • Familiarity or interest in reliability and maintenance processes including Criticality Assessment, Failure Mode, and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
  • Competent in various domain-specific digital tools and practices, such as SAP S/4 HANA | Logistics Infrastructure | Risk Management | Sustainability | ERP System Architecture | Data Analytics
  • Strong analytical skills, inclusive of data analytics and machine learning techniques
  • Design thinking. • LEAN Six SIGMA process Improvement certification and experience
