JOB DESCRIPTION

To execute structural engineering analysis and prepare relevant engineering document. Maybe required to lead a job/work scope which involve in managing a group of structural engineers and designers to deliver safe design and quality deliverables within project cost and schedules for structural work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Engage, communicate or discuss with Client as necessary
• Participating in all progress and inter-disciplines meetings and model reviews as applicable/needed.
• Perform structural analysis and prepare relevant engineering documents.
• Prepare or provide guidance on development of structural design basis, briefs, and specifications, etc as required by job scope.
• Provide guidance, training, and supervision to professional, technical and support staff on a project basis.
• Review all structural deliverables/documents prior to issuance or as required by a project/workscope.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Bachelor of Science/Engineering in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Between 8 to 15 years of experience on upstream oil and gas offshore facility structural engineering
• Have an experience as a lead engineer or in a similar capacity for greenfield offshore platforms in FEED or Detail. Experience as a lead engineer or in a similar capacity for a brownfield work my be considered.
• Strong technical knowledge in structural engineering analysis which include but not limited to
• In-service - Inplace, Dynamic, Fatigue, Pushover.
• Pre-service - Loadout, Lifting, Transportation, Launching and Floatation.
• Miscellaneous - Connection and node engineering, secondary and tertiary.
• Well verse in major oil and gas and structural code of practice such as API RP-2A, ISO 19901, ISO 19902, DNVs, AISC 360 (LRFD & ASD), EN 1993, among others
• Well verse with SACS suite programs. A mastery or ability to execute programs like GRLWEAP, USFOS, SESAM Genie and ANYSYS/ABAQUS is a major advantage.
