Job SummaryLower 48 Overview

The Lower 48 represents the largest ConocoPhillips business segment today based on production, with high-quality positions in the U.S. unconventionals. These low cost of supply and low GHG-intensity assets have significant upside potential.

The company's large Lower 48 position of 10.3 million net acres, including unconventional holdings of approximately 1.7 million net acres, represents scalable inventory with low cost of supply and low GHG emissions intensity with the potential to generate significant returns over many years of future development. Current major focus areas for the Lower 48 include the Delaware and Midland Basins, part of the world-class Permian Basin, as well as the Eagle Ford and Bakken.

In 2022, net crude oil production was 534 MBOED.

Description

If you are selected as the Supply Chain Analyst, you will produce and execute supply chain and contracting strategies, plans, and deliverables. Your position will be responsible for the sourcing of services to ensure improvement of best value agreements as part of the L48 Category Optimization team.
Job Description
Responsibilities may include:
  • Deliver Supply Chain Management (SCM) services:
  • Key Interface - function as key liaison for assigned categories to provide active solutions to business needs
  • Strategy Development & Plan - lead development of sourcing strategies and tactical execution plan for assigned categories
  • Review key category & market factors to determine optimal sourcing strategy
  • Develop work plans and landmark schedules
  • Integrate plans and schedules with business needs to enable on-time execution
  • Identify and participate in continuous improvement and market intelligence practices to drive efficiencies and cost reductions
  • Sourcing/ Negotiating / Contracting / SRM:
  • SOURCING - develop bid tenders & negotiation templates and lead efforts to solicit commercial offerings. Lead ad hoc and emergency requirements
  • CONTRACTING - negotiate and maintain contractual terms and conditions using Master Service Agreements (MSA's), Purchase Orders (PO's), Outline Agreements (OLA's) and other contractual terms and conditions as necessary
  • SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT - develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers including "Field Improvement Team" (FIT) meetings. Work with suppliers to ensure R2P system functions properly

Basic/Required:
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
  • 1+ years of experience in supply chain management
  • 1+ years of experience in RFP's, sourcing evaluations, and post-award contract management
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain, Business, other related technical field, or foreign equivalent
  • 3+ years of supply chain management experience supporting upstream oil and gas
  • GEP experience
