Senior OrcaFlex Analysis Engineer

Lisbon- Portugal

Being a Subsea7 Senior Orcaflex Analysis Engineer involves working on studies, tenders and projects in a variety of EPCI and/or Transport & Installation Contracts for topics related to installation analyses for power cables, umbilicals, flexible lines, mooring lines and associated offshore structures.

What we value the most in your profile:

• MSc. degree in Engineering (marine / offshore / ocean technology / naval architecture / mechanical / civil)
• Being a proficient OrcaFlex software user with a minimum of 5 years of experience within hydrodynamics, marine operations, or/and installation analysis
• Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
• Strong Analytical skills and creative Problem Solving
• Being a Team Player but able to work Autonomously, organizing and prioritizing your work
• Ability to Communicate in a clear and objective way your opinions and results to different stakeholders (either through reports or presentations)

The challenges we will propose to you:

• Perform and supervise installation analysis with OrcaFlex software, as per design brief and basis.
• Produce and check others analyses, design, and associated engineering activities, including feasibility reports, detailed in place design reports, specifications, material take-offs, etc.
• Interface with project engineering teams (operations, installation, drawing office)
• Understand Client needs to develop specification for Suppliers, supporting their selection through technical bid evaluation
• Provide engineering assistance during mobilizations and occasional periods of offshore or site working, including FATs, SITs, Pre-commissioning, etc.
• Proposes innovative solutions allowing cost & risks reduction
