Responsibilities

Our Procurement Manager has responsibility for planning, directing and managing procurement activities. This includes developing, reviewing and approving new or improved purchasing procedures to maintain economy and efficiency of operations, approving bid proposals and specifications and evaluating overall revisions, price and past performance of each contract. You will be responsible for logistics and inventory control as well as tracking costs and participating in financial reports. day to day you will monitor project procurement-related activities and performance, providing strategy, direction and support to team members to ensure successful delivery of established project requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

SAFETY, SECURITY & COMPLIANCE
  • Maintains the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with Company policies and procedures, relevant laws, regulations, standards, and industry practices
  • Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Security, Compliance & HSE policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of the Weatherford Management System
  • Responsible for the health and safety arrangements of all and any subordinates and any persons visiting them while on the Company premises
  • Demonstrates effective safety leadership at all times to enhance the Companys commitment to safety performance

QUALITY
  • Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and taking an active role in the compliance and improvement of the Weatherford Management System
  • Maintains service quality as an immediate priority when working across all areas of the business

OPERATIONS
  • Supports and contributes to the development, implementation, and execution of procurement processes in support of procurement function and business objectives
  • Manages and coordinates materials requirements and sourcing through MRP using the JD Edwards business solution;
  • Drive balance between supply and demand to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Directs and coordinates all purchasing activities in support of the master production schedule utilizing best practices and strategic sourcing techniques;
  • Ensures the health of the supply chain in terms of existing suppliers with a reliable track record for quality and on-time delivery;
  • Maintain MRP messages to ensure optimal inventory levels;
  • Directs and coordinates expediting of procured material;
  • Establish and manage KPIs to ensure 95%+ on-time delivery of purchased material and components;
  • Knows and understands the Weatherford Quality Policy and complies with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures, and Work Place Instructions;
  • With assistance from HR: recruits, hires, trains staff, evaluates employee performance, and recommends or initiates promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action;
  • Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies/trade compliance; • Perform various other duties and activities as assigned within the physical constraints of the job.

COMMUNICATION
  • Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external
  • The primary interface for all inventory, logistics, and procurement issues to meet production schedules and customer requirements

FINANCIAL
  • All employees have an accountability to the organization to be financially responsible whether they oversee a functioning budget or simply their expenses
  • Costs incurred should be within the approved budget and processed within agreed time frames and following the relevant financial policy and procedure

PEOPLE & DEVELOPMENT
  • Responsible for developing their careers within the Company including completing all necessary function training to enhance their skills and experience
  • Responsible for ensuring resources are aligned and coherent with activity levels, activity mix, and country-specific needs in manufacturing.
  • Responsible for completing all assigned Compliance & Company Standards training
  • Responsible for engaging with their line manager to discuss their personal performance, objectives, and opportunities to enhance their skills and experience to support their career potential
  • Responsible for actively engaging their employees to support talent management through Weatherfords performance management & coaching tools and processes, including but not limited to talent assessments and succession planning
  • Responsible for driving strategies for the recruitment & retention of key personnel & to foster an environment that enables the Company to attract & retain a performing talented workforce

VISION & LEADERSHIP
  • Led and facilitated cross-functional teams in support of strategic initiatives both within the supply chain organization and across Geozones and Manufacturing
  • Identify process problems and concerns and make recommendations for innovative solutions and corrective actions to achieve desirable results, helping the company better manage the cost of supplies and supplier services.
Qualifications

Experience & Education

REQUIRED
  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing or related discipline
  • Minimum 5-7+ years of experience in procurement, general/strategic sourcing, supply chain management/analysis or similar experience

PREFERRED
  • Supply Chain Management certification
  • Oil & Gas industry supply chain experience
  • MBA in Business Administration degree

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

REQUIRED
  • Strong leadership skills including leading projects with broad scope and impact outside of department
  • Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes
  • Strong problem solving, negotiating, solutions orientation and presentation skills
  • Capable of analyzing and solving complex problems through innovative thought
  • APICS certified CPIM

PREFERRED
  • Excellent negotiation skills and contract management
  • Strong product or market knowledge
