Responsibilities

Contracts Manager is a key role within our organization, responsible for leading and managing the sustainable sourcing and contracting processes. The Manager will collaborate closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and external partners to establish and implement sustainable sourcing guidelines, policies, and practices. This role will also be responsible for the Vendor Management Approved Supplier List (ASL), designed to ensure quality and compliance within the supply chain, supporting SQE processes and efficient supplier onboarding.

  • Maintains the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with Companys Security, Compliance & HSE policies, Management System, relevant laws, regulations, standards, and industry practices and complies with the Companys Rules to Live By
  • Places Quality, Health & Safety, Security and protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers or the communities in which we live and work at risk
  • Seeks continual improvement in Health, Safety, Security & protection of the Environment, taking into account responsible care, process vulnerabilities, public, customer and employee inputs, knowledge and technology and best business practices to exceed customer expectations
  • Supervisors & Managers should demonstrate effective safety leadership for the health and safety arrangements of all subordinates and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises
QUALITY
  • Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherfords Management System
  • Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement
OPERATIONS
  • Ensures that contracts and proposals are properly entered into organizational databases and securely maintained in accordance with Company policies, legal, risks, and QHSSE requirements.
  • Works closely with Supply Chain Legal to develop standards for contracts, including presentation of budget, payment terms, general language, and provisions.
  • Performs appropriate technical, administrative, and operational research to support proposal and contract development.
  • Conducts contract strategy meetings to identify issues and internal and external requirements, facilitate pricing discussions, and obtain senior management input on timelines and deliverables.
  • Drafts contractual provisions based on strategy discussions, senior management input, and organizational needs and expectations.
  • Assures accuracy and appropriateness of contract text and attachments.
  • Interfaces with Suppliers for proper insurance companies documentation regarding adequacy of coverage and purchasing needs.
  • Researches compliance issues, applicable regulations, and laws, as well as develops solutions to unusual and complex contracting issues.
  • Serves as the primary organizational contact during audits and contract negotiations to ensure terms acceptance.
  • Engages relevant stakeholders in negotiation decisions involving legal or regulatory requirements, contract standards, and cost targets.
  • Participates in the development and execution of negotiation strategies that minimize potential losses and benefit the organization's financial performance.
  • Maintains deadlines on deliverables and communicates on an ongoing basis with business partners and internal clients about contractual issues.
  • Reviews contractual performance of both parties to ensure compliance with terms and to identify conflicts or changes requiring resolution at contract renewal.
  • Aligns with business operations managers, including relevant divisions of finance, legal, and project development.
  • Oversees sourcing and contracts, delivery, and quality for a complete procurement cycle, ensuring the commercial and cost-saving benefits are realized at the P&L level while ensuring on-time delivery with suppliers.
  • Identifies spend opportunities through periodic 3rd party subcontracts renegotiations.
  • Supports annual business and service quality reviews with regional suppliers against Weatherford scorecards to measure supplier performance and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Ensures accurate and up-to-date contracts and supplier records are maintained.
  • Tracks performance aspects of major contracts and supplier development that include contract inventory, segmentation, risk assessments, contingency planning, and validation of right pricing.
  • Ensures safe and efficient utilization of company systems, tools, and spreadsheets/reports.
  • Evaluates, manages, and reports Regional performance indicators related to the cost, quality, and delivery of materials and services.
  • Oversees organizational contract development and management activities, and enforces organizational principles of integrity and compliance.
  • Responsible for the Vendor Management Approved Supplier List (ASL), designed to ensure quality and compliance within the supply chain, supporting SQE processes and efficient supplier onboarding.
  • Drives initiatives for supply chain sustainability, promoting environmentally and socially responsible practices within procurement and supplier relationships.
  • Implements strategies to enhance supply chain resilience, including diversification and risk mitigation plans to ensure sustainability and continuity of operations.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree: Business, Finance, Supply Chain or related degree
  • 5+ years in the field of Contract Management, Finance, Supply Chain
  • Legally authorized to work
  • Proficiency utilizing and interpreting financial models and analysis
  • Experience applying organizational standards when developing requests for proposals, negotiating terms and drafting contracts
  • Ability to interact in English and potentially other language relevant in local hub
  • Intermediate Excel user and proficient in MS Office suite
