JOB TITLE: PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN

Repsol -AUK- 12 months FTC

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Live our Petrofac values and apply them in our day-to-day work.
  • Operate process equipment and utility systems in accordance with operating procedures to maximise production
  • Carry out watch keeping duties to ensure integrity and stability of operation are maintained
  • Prepare and isolate equipment for maintenance activities and reinstate it upon completion
  • Carry out first-line maintenance activities on the process plant and utility
  • Report any defects or anomalies in a timely manner
  • Respond to process trips and unplanned equipment stoppages in a timely manner
  • Ensure comprehensive records and logs are maintained and effective handovers are carried out at shift and crew change
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis activities to improve process reliability
  • Identify and propose ideas and solutions that will increase efficiency in production, cost or time without loss of integrity and present to management
  • Support and improve team performance by sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Participate in PFM competence scheme, including any multi-skilled role, in accordance with the relevant competence framework
  • Adopt a flexible working attitude to provide support across all departments to ensure team success
  • Create, maintain and enhance effective working relations and identify and minimise interpersonal conflict
  • Maintain effective communication with all work colleagues at all levels
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and be able to apply it in the workplace
  • Ensure all work is conducted in full compliance with Repsol Sinopecs HS&E policy, procedures and Safety Management System
  • Be familiar with and follow the Repsol Sinopec Golden Rules for Health and Safety at all times
  • Comply with all relevant PFM HS&E policies and procedures, where appropriate
  • Actively participate in and support all Repsol Sinopec and PFM Safety and Environmental plans, initiatives and improvements
  • Carry out all activities in accordance with ISSOW, including the following:
  • Comprehensive and detailed Risk Assessments and Toolbox Talks
  • Stop and re-asses any job where change is identified
  • Report all accidents and incidents
  • Carry out Emergency Response duties in accordance with Repsol Sinopecs requirements


ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • NSVQ Production of Hydrocarbons Level 3 or Equivalent
  • Control of Work Training: Performing Authority level
  • ISSoW: Permit Vision software training
  • Previous experience in a similar offshore role
  • Previous experience with Maximo or similar CMMS
  • Computer literate, including use of Microsoft office suite
