Marine Engineer
Brunel International is looking for a Marine Engineer with a Certified STCW III/1 and background in Engine Room routine onboard sailing vessel or FPSO.

  • The Marine Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operation of the vessel's engine room;
  • The engineer will be required to perform routine maintenance, inspect and repair all engine room equipment and systems;
  • The engineer must have knowledge of the ship's propulsion system, electrical systems, fuel systems, pumps, valves, etc. The engineer must also be able to read and interpret P&ID drawings and schematics.


  • Certified STCW III/1;
  • Background in Engine Room routine onboard sailing vessel or FPSO;
  • Knowledge of the ship's propulsion system, electrical systems, fuel systems, pumps, valves etc;
  • Ability to read and interpret P&ID drawings and schematics (preferred);
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
