Location - West London, Berkshire Region

Salary - Up to £75000 with £6136 Car Allowance & Flexible benefits package £1475

Penspen www.penspen.com have new projects based in the West London and Berkshire regions and require a strong Project manager with fuel management; operational and maintenance; airside experience.

 

 

If you are a strong PMO or Project Manager with exceptional project management competencies with:-

  • Operational and maintenance management
  • Strong Leadership and broad experience across operations and engineering within the industry
  • Experience of Fuel Management, testing, petroleum products, refining and storage
  • Audit and compliance
  • Able to identify, mitigate and control risks
  • Implementing lessons learned and identifying areas of continuous improvement
  • Analytical ability to focus on schedules and commercial goals relating to progress, cost and revenue
  • Strong contract and financial management competencies
  • High level or strategic planning capability to effectively achieve company and project goals.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • A degree level qualification in relevant engineering discipline.
  • Chartered status desirable.
  • Professional registration with PMP / APMP, etc. desirable.

 

 

Main Purpose of Role:

Responsible for overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects to meet requirements of projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. Communicates with Director of Asset Management regarding status of projects.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and communicate objectives to project team in accordance with contract terms, scope of work and company policies.
  • Initiates projects in line with corporate project management guidelines, including production and maintenance of Project Execution Plan, to define comprehensive project requirements.
  • Primary point of contact with clients for all commercial and contractual matters.
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationship and manage key stakeholder expectations.
  • Responsible for project performance including project expenditure, revenue forecasts and cash flow targets within project schedule.
  • Defining resource requirements of project in liaison with engineering manager / project manager.
  • Work with project engineering manager to balance workload through scheduling, re-assignment of work, review of project focus and issue resolution which inhibit project success.
  • Monitor progress of project scope and accurately report progress to key stakeholders and escalate any risks and issues.
  • Assesses variances from project scope, plans, budgets and schedules. Develop and implement changes, as necessary, to meet project scope within time, cost, and quality objectives.
  • Oversee all Health, Safety, Environmental and Security requirements across Projects.
  • Ensure work is carried out in accordance with the Company Quality Policy and procedures.
  • Identify potential areas for improvement in current methodologies.

  • Gross Profit target as defined within the project schedule
  • Revenue Recognition targets as defined within the project schedule
  • Cash flow performance as defined within the project schedule
  • Project performance on actual vs. forecast schedule

 

 

Knowledge / Experience (Skills):

  • Detailed experience of delivering projects on time and on budget in the Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Experience of all phases within a project.
  • High level computer literacy with MS Office.
  • Communication & Interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Commercially aware.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Problem solving skills.
