Join TotalEnergies Renewables USA, LLC as a Solar Project Development Manager - East Coast. T his is a new addition to our team as we are strengthening our presence in renewable energies. As Project Development Manager you will drive the greenfield s olar and storage projects from initial land search efforts through to commercial operation. You will have a significant amount of responsibility in this role along with room to expand within TotalEnergies.

Our development team offices in Austin, TX. We are looking for you to work in Austin OR be open to travel to Austin regularly.

What You Will Bring:

• Education: 4-year technical or business degree from an accredited college program
• Work Experience: At least 3-5 years renewable energy project development (solar PV preferred) full Lifecyle experience is required
• Project Development experience in PJM, Miso, or NYISO energy markets is required
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects, people, and strategic objectives; Project Management Professional certification preferred
• Subject matter expertise (e.g., real estate, environmental, permitting, tax abatements) highly valued

Activities

• Advise Land Acquisition Specialists on greenfield targets and negotiations to ensure financeable lease/purchase options and site control agreements with landowners. As needed, contract and supervise local land agents.
• Intimate knowledge and ability to follow closely the renewable energy power market trends including changing technologies, regulations, and regulatory/ financial incentives
• Lead and coordinate development activities for assigned pipeline projects
• Collaborate with assigned Project Manager to maintain project schedules and ensure the project meets budgets
