Our client is seeking a Full-Time Materials Coordinator to support US based LNG export facility and service the global demand for North American natural gas. This Houston-based position will support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various departments/work areas to identify any missing or delayed materials crucial for uninterrupted workflow.
• Monitor specific material purchases, meticulously tracking delivery dates, and effectively communicating project priorities to suppliers.
• Ensure proactive and clear communication to enhance coordination, support productivity, and anticipate potential delays or material shortages.
• Work closely with Project Managers to stay updated on delivery timelines and any material and/or subcontract resource requirements.
• Compile, record, and report project performance and progress to management and key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Training and experience equivalent to three years of full-time employment in warehousing and materials management, or a related field.
• Some familiarity with a computerized inventory control system, or a blend of education and experience.

Skills:

• Proficient in using SAP and MS Office programs.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work strategically with minimal direction.
• Skilled in building relationships and engaging with stakeholders across the organization.
• Thorough understanding of material management principles, including inventory control, receiving, and issuing, using computerized control systems.
• Knowledgeable about procurement procedures, maintenance practices, and operations processes.
• Capable of collaborative work within teams and across different functions.
• Ability to establish relationships with third-party vendors to facilitate material movements.
