Airswift is seeking for Welding Engineer to work based in Qatar (Doha or )China (Qingdao) , with multiple worldwide missions including offshore to be anticipated with a major Oil & Gas Company.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The job holder is accountable for the following activities during project execution by Major Project Division:

Airswift is seeking for Welding Engineer to work based in Qatar (Doha or )China (Qingdao) , with multiple worldwide missions including offshore to be anticipated with a major Oil & Gas Company.
QUALIFICATION
- Qualification: Master's degree in welding - ESSA / IWE / EWE certifications also required.
- Professional Experience (number of years) : 15 in a similar position.
- Experience within project : (number of years) : 10 years of experience associated with Piping and Structural works.
- A good knowledge of international codes/standards related to Piping & Structural design, fabrication and inspection.
- Comprehensive knowledge in welding, material, corrosion (inc SSCC) and NDE.
- Good leadership skills and good communication skills.
- Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment,
- Be skilled in using computer programs for word processing, database management, spreadsheets and e-mail communications.
- H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The job holder is accountable for the following activities during project execution by Major Project Division:
- To provide welding engineering, metallurgy and non-destructive testing expertise across the different Projects managed by the Major Project Division.
- To implement the Technical Referential and applicable local and international codes.
- To assist Projects in the execution of the FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction,transportation and offshore installation works.
- To interface with Engineering and Construction Department with the Technical Reference Person (TRP) for the management of Derogation impacting Technical Referential.
