AUSTRALIA/NZ CAMPAIGN - MEGA WORKSHOP

We will be running an extensive campaign for jobs in Saudi Arabia during the last week in April. Preference for these jobs, is for Australia and New Zealand natives, or people currently based in Australia and New Zealand.

We are seeking a Production Engineering Specialist to join the JRAK Engineering and SGNA Engineering divisions of Well Completion Operation & Production Engineering Department.

The JRAK Engineering and SGNA Production Engineering divisions are responsible to maximize the efficiency and output of Saudi Aramco unconventional assets and employing cutting-edge techniques and technologies to optimize production processes, enhance reservoir performance and reduce the operational cost.

Minimum Requirements:

As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelors degree in petroleum engineering from a recognized and approved program.

▪ You will have fifteen years of experience in production engineering and production optimization, including at least ten years in unconventional production engineering and optimization

You will also have;

▪ Strong expertise in unconventional behaviours, well performance analysis and fluid dynamics.

▪ Proficiency in simulation software and modelling using material balance, Nodal Analysis and surface Network Software (Prosper-GAP- Pipesim, OLGA; or similar software).

▪ Experience in unconventional resources or HPHT/tight gas & oil well with a good understanding of hydraulic fracturing, especially on impact on flowback/production practices.

▪ Working knowledge in production assurance and optimization of natural flowing oil and gas wells.

▪ Ability to assist in the development and implementation of the flow assurance techniques, programs and operational procedures.

▪ Knowledge of industry regulations, safety practices, and environmental standards. Knowledge of industry regulations, safety practices and standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

▪ Lead production optimization solutions for existing producing wells and future development areas

▪ Responsible for well and field production performance, integrated production system modelling using material balance, Nodal Analysis and surface Network Software (Prosper-GAP- Mbal; or similar software).

▪ Responsible for routine well and reservoir surveillance, problem well diagnostics and proficient in downhole remediation practices and prepare field operational procedures

▪ Ensure adequate well start-up and shut down procedures for gas and gas and oil wells.

▪ Daily production monitoring and well surveillance.

▪ Deep understanding on well loading issues, well deliquification practices and production best practices.

▪ Plan and program field/wells opportunities, surveillance plan a providing support to business plan.

▪ Work with Cross-functional team to define and update the field completion/stimulation strategy
