Role: Authorised Person - Piping & Electrical

Salary: Up to Circa £70000k dependent on skillset and qualifications

LTD Contractor: Circa £40 an hour

Additional: Full company benefits package for Permanent staff

Location: Remote with travel across the UK Wide

We looking for a team of experienced MOD accredited Authorised Person's to join our existing team and work on a variety of exciting projects across the UK.

 

If you are an MOD JSP Authorised Person with experience and are Security Cleared and have Petroleum, Piping or Electrical experience, ideally with site / field experience, you can start asap - Contract or Permanent.

Previous MOD JSP work exposure is critical for this role.

 

What you'll need:

  • ONC/HNC or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • QCF Level 3 - Mechanical or Electrical for Fixed Wiring Installations
  • QCF Level 2 - Mechanical or Electrical Equipment
  • COMPEX EX01 - EX04 Electrical; COMPEX EX11 Mechanical; Multiple Gas Indicator (MGI) Training
  • Good command of English and IT Skills
  • Full clean driving licence



Job role:

  • Production of switching schedules and carrying out switching on a large variety of private LV/HV networks on commercial, industrial, construction and various government agency sites 
  • CITB Site Safety Management Scheme
  • Undertake switching, testing, commissioning fault diagnosis and maintenance of high and low voltage networks.
  • Be able to prepare and present risk assessments and method statements for installation and maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to take the lead in fault location activities
  • Familiarity with a variety of HV switchgear, transformers and associated cabling systems
  • Basic fault diagnosis and testing of HV/LV protection schemes.
  • Working knowledge of the various components of a typical protection scheme and their interconnection
